It’s Wednesday and things are going smoothly you can’t believe the week is half-way over. Projects are going through the proper channels and emails with problems are slow if nonexistent. Yet, then you get the coworker who peers around your wall with seemingly-odd smile, “Hey, glad it’s hump day?”

There are certain do’s and don’ts of calling into work sick. The obvious one is ‘acting’ sick. Why act sick, seriously? Why not be open and honest with your boss and let them know your taking a “personal day”? Well, for the most obvious reason of course.

Technology is amazing. First we had the beeper - you called the pager number then entered your number and the person would call you back. Then we had giant cell phones and now we have smartphones and blackberry’s. Yet, what is there role in the office?

We are constantly Thanking God Its Friday but could we Thank God Its Thursday? Can a Thursday be more productive yet feel the same results as a Friday without working 10 hour days for a 4 day work week?

I'm just your typical cubical bee working 5 days a week from 8-5. starring endlessly into the abyss of my souless monitor hoping one day I will be sucked out of this Matrix or retire. Till then I might as well share some funny stories about my coworkers and more or less daily ramblings.
